Born in the province of Pavia June 3, 1949, the winemaker Teresio Schiavi moved to Franciacorta in 1978 and decided with a friend Giacomo Cavalli to start producing Franciacorta. Mirabella was born in 1979, originally a small company with a production of 8,000 bottles in the old textile mill in the country, which over time has been able to stand out and become one of the leading companies of Franciacorta. Today the winery covers over 50 hectares and produces 450,000 bottles.
