A five generation family winery Massimo Rivetti has 25 hectares cultivated under organic certification with indigenous yeast and no pesticides or chemicals used Annual production is around 100.000 bottles, mainly divided between Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba. All the fields are grouped around Froi, Garassino and Palazzina. In Froi there is the winery which is built on Serraboella hill, one of the most important for the production of Barbaresco.
Tasting Notes Made with organically farmed grapes, this opens with aromas of rose petal, incense and leather. The structured palate offers red cherry, licorice and cinnamon alongside youthfully austere fine-grained tannins.
