Le Chiuse is one of the most historically important vineyards in Montalcino. It is where the first clone of Brunello was ever grown. It is still part of the Biondi Santi family who are credited with the introduction of Brunello two centuries ago. Le Chiuse have just released their 2015 Brunello Riserva ’10 anni’ Magnum 1.5LT, 10 years after the vintage.
Intense, ruby red in color with garnet hues, this very aromatic wine shows violet, prune, pepper, spice and licorice on the nose. Full-bodied, savory with fruit and spices confirmed on this refined palate. Long and silky.
