All of the wines are recognised internationally as well as delivering consistent quality. They are great to drink now or put away for a special occasion.
Here they are:
Le Chiuse Rosso di Montalcino 2017
A wonderful approachable Rosso di Montalcino from the family who are part of the Biondi Santi Family. 100% sangiovese with 12 months in Slovenian Oak. 90 points from Wine Spectator and 92 points from Wine Enthusiast. Certified organic.
Campo Al Noce Miterre 2017
This is our star Supertuscan and sits adjacent to Sassicaia as the family originally were sharecroppers working for the Tenuta San Guido family. It has great fruit with Cabernet, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Syrah and spends 12 months in Barrique oak casks.
Cigliano Chianti Classico 2016
This was our first Chianti Classico and is from San Casciano Val di Pesa, 20 minutes from Florence and the family is a part of the famous Antinori Family. Unfortunatlely, Niccolo, the talented son and winemaker passed away recently with pancreatic cancer at 43 years of age. His wines are highly rated by Gambero Rosso and many other publications. A very special wine in many ways. Organic.
Querce Bettina Rosso di Montalcino 2015
This is an amazing Rosso di Montalcino made by Roberto and Sandra and was the first winery we imported. I love their aged Sangiovese Rosso for 12 months in tonneaux. Organic
Valdipiatta Chianti Colli Senesi 2016
Miriam is the owner and winemaker of Valdipiatta after studying in Bordeaux. She is rated in the Top 5 of Nobile di Montepulciano producers and we love her commitment to winemaking and her vineyards. This Chianti has good age and is full of big red notes. Organic
Civettaio Maremma Sangiovese 2015
A wine made from 100% sangiovese at the foothills of Montalcino and aged in Slovenian Oak for 12 months. This has lovely age, good depth and body and is drinking great now. Certified organic.
